Contexture

Contexture is a magazine design that showcases and promotes local artists and writers. I seeked out different poetry writers and artists to feature in the magazine. Once I gathered the work that I needed, I began to illustrate imagery that flowed with the poetry and other artwork. My goal was to create magazine spreads where my own illustrations could coexist with others’ work. Contexture is a highly creative and experimental magazine, so I experimented with titles and imagery that carries throughout.
